OUR PROJECTS

We are undertaking the following initial projects and mobilizing the resources from various Global Individuals and Corporate Leaders in the form of donations as well as in the form of Sponsorships in a project. The detail project review  reports will be sent to the Project Sponsors from time to time for their evaluations. For smooth implementations of the projects FRIENDS has created FRIENDS DISTRICT to cover a particular geographical boundaries of the area in a normal course. In the First Phase FRIENDS have identified 120 most natural disasters prone areas and in the process of forming 120 FRIENDS Districts globally.

 

Project - I (Mobile Hospitals & Ambulances)

The foremost priority in a disaster is the First Aid medication to the injured and the survivors. For the same FRIENDS is centrally stationed One Mobile hospital equipped with all the facilities and amenities along with at least two ambulances in every FRIENDS District. Each Mobile Hospitals will be equipped with a small modern Operation Theatre for taking care of the emergencies. Volunteers will accompany the team for rescue operation of the victims. All FRIENDS District will also be equipped with modern mobile communication systems for co-coordinating with the FRIENDS Country Head Co-ordination Centre so that additional resources can be sent immediately from the nearest unaffected FRIENDS districts.

Project - II (Mobile Training Centre)

In the Project - II each FRIENDS District will be equipped with a Mobile Training Centre to equipped the common people of that district area with information regarding various disasters and train them the disaster management techniques by the experts so that there is minimal causality impact on the disaster affected areas.

Project - III (Mobile Library cum Info Centre)

The Project - III will facilitate each FRIENDS District with a Mobile Library cum Info Centre equipped with all mobile audio visual equipments along with books and internet access to increase the knowledge base of the common people in rural areas on that FRIENDS District.

 Project - IV (Mobile Counseling Centre)

In the Project - IV each FRIENDS District will be facilitate with a Mobile Counseling Centre equipped with the experts of the domain to pre counsel on various issues and immunize the common people of that district area with possible impacts during disasters and post counseling for starting the rehabilitation work of the affected people in  that FRIENDS District.

Project - V (Mobile Shelter Trolleys)

Project -V is to be implemented by the FRIENDS to give immediate relief to the affected victims by identifying the injured, children, woman and aged ones. Adequate numbers of the mobile shelter trolleys will be rushed to the affected areas by measuring the impact of the disasters. As an interim measure five mobile shelter trolleys will be stationed in each FRIENDS District.

Project - VI (Mobile Sanitation Trolleys)

Similarly in Project -VI, it is to be implemented by the FRIENDS to give immediate relief measure to the victims. Numbers of the Mobile Sanitation Trolleys will be rushed to the affected areas by measuring the impact caused by the disasters. As an interim measure four to five Mobile Sanitation Trolleys will be stationed in each FRIENDS District.
